Sustainable Design
Responsible, sustainable, conscious design has always been hugely important to me
This was a key focus for me during my Fashion Design degree.
But when I first started out in the industry, there were not many opportunities to work with conscious brands. I ended up working with Fast Fashion retailers for the majority of my career, and have seen first-hand the negative impact the industry has on people & the planet.
The fashion industry is at a crossroads and big change is needed NOW.
I am hugely passionate about pursuing more responsible & sustainable practices and feel this is a key social responsibility as a Creative in today’s (rather broken) industry
I now focus on working with responsible brands, using my extensive design experience to help them on their sustainable journey
I’m consistently striving to learn more about sustainable & circular design & sourcing, in order to implement this into the ranges I deliver for my clients
